How we will win the middle school and beyond, Part II

organize

(Part I here.)

After a frustrating Board of Supervisors meeting last night and weeks of discouraging news about Pulaski County’s much-needed new middle school, you might be feeling disheartened. But we can do hard things!

Details:

When? July 3rd, 9am – Noon

Where? First Pres. Church in Pulaski

Child care provided.

Let’s come together on July 3rd to learn organizing skills and create a plan for how we will get a new middle school for our children and the entire county. We will use the middle school issue as a test lab for learning skills that will be transferable to other community issues in the future; it will also be a good opportunity to spend some time together building community.

(Workshop organized by The View from Peak’s Knob editorial staff; facilitated by Virginia Organizing.)
