Elections will be held tomorrow (May 1) in Pulaski and Dublin. On the ballot will be candidates for Mayor (Pulaski) and Town Council (Pulaski and Dublin). Full sample ballots for both can be found at the Pulaski County Registrar’s website (http://www.pulaskicounty.org/Registrar.html).
In Pulaski, David Clark is running unopposed for mayor and 5 candidates are running for 3 seats on Town Council. In Dublin, 6 candidates are running for 3 Town Council positions. The Southwest Times has a more detailed writeup here: https://www.southwesttimes.com/2018/04/dublin-pulaski-electing-leaders-tuesday/. The Southwest Times solicited letters from all of the candidates and published responses in print and online. We are linking all of those responses below. Thank you to the Southwest Times for giving the candidates space on your pages. I believe we have linked to all of the published responses (and/or profiles from previous elections where they we’re available), but please let us know in the comments if we missed any that were published or if there is another profile of the candidate we could link. Names below appear in the order they appear on the ballot.
The View From Peak’s Knob takes no editorial position on these races and we only hope that everyone makes an effort to get to the polls tomorrow to participate in this essential civic duty.
